Pulmonary medicine or Pulmonology, as it is called, is a specialty treating diseases of the lungs and chest.

Pulmonary Medicine



Diseases of the chest can come on suddenly or be life-long problems. We use modern techniques to make the diagnosis quickly.

Technology used to diagnose the problem can include chest x-rays, lung function tests, blood work and oxygen tests, lung biopsy and other methods. Dr. Warner was Cullman's first full-time board certified lung specialist.

Alpha-1 Deficiency- In 2016, Chest Medicine of Cullman became Alabama's first and only Alpha-1 Foundation Clinical Resource Center (CRC). CRCs serve as regional centers with a specialization and experience in Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency.
