Pulmonary Medicine
Pulmonary medicine or Pulmonology, as it is
called, is a specialty treating diseases of the lungs
and chest. Diseases of the chest can come on
suddenly or be life-long problems. We use
modern techniques to make the diagnosis quickly.
Technology used to diagnose the problem can
include chest x-rays, lung function tests, blood
work and oxygen tests, lung biopsy and other
methods.
Dr. Warner was Cullman's first full-time
certified lung specialist.

Sleep Medicine
Sleep Disorders Medicine is a field of medicine to treat patients with
trouble sleeping. This can include people who can't sleep and people
who sleep too much. Modern technology and sleep studies allow us to
treat all sleep problems. Dr. Warner is the founder of CRMC's Sleep
Disorders Center in 1997. Dr. Warner is Cullman's
only university
fellowship-trained sleep specialist Board-certified by the American Board
of Sleep Medicine. When it comes to your health, insist on getting only the
best care from the most qualified provider.
EMS, Tactical, and Disaster Medicine
In addition to his office pratice, Dr. Warner is also trained as an expert in
intensive care medicine, disaster medicine, tactical (SWAT) medicine and EMS
prehospital emergency care. This specialty treats patients in critical condition in
and out of the hospital. He treats patients with life-threatening injuries and
illnesses requiring specialized care of life support. He is the medical director of
Cullman EMS
and Cullman Fire-Rescue. He is a member of the uniformed
services as  the Chief Medical Officer for the U.S. National Disaster Medical
System Alabama-1 DMAT.
